REVEREND VELMA GREENLEE

For more than twenty five years, Reverend Velma E. Greenlee has ministered the mandates of Christian principles and precepts behind the sacred desk. Those experiences and God’s divine order for her life have prepared her and taken her to a new level of Evangelistic ministry.  She’s launched several powerful initiatives under Velma Greenlee Ministries that include The Prayer Closet, a
weekly intercessory prayer line; The Vine Connection, a bi-weekly Bible Study; God’s Leading Ladies, workshops teaching women in leadership how walk in their assignment and Curve Balls, a dynamic message of empowerment for women as they most assuredly face encounters that throw them off balance. The
great news is that Rev. Greenlee helps them to find and understand the importance of knocking these curve balls out of their lives with renewed hope and life restoration.

She hails from Connecticut and she has remained true to the diligent teachings and empowering life lessons of her incredible parents, Reverend Dr. Tyrone K. Ashley, Sr., and the first lady of her life, her mother, the late Minister Autry B. Ashley.  She was educated in the Connecticut school system and graduated from
the Stone School of Business in New Haven, Connecticut.  To further enhance and evolve her knowledge base of God, she attended Southern New England Regional Bible Institute. She has a wonderful career that she loves and she is employed as a Key Account Manager with Pierce Insurance Agency.

A tireless servant after God’s heart, she has a mandate to minister to the Kingdom of God. As a teacher and preacher of the Word, it is her desire and mission to empower the body of Christ with a focused platform for women to walk in God’s purposed direction for their lives.

One of Rev. Greenlee’s favorite quotes says:  Don’t leave this earth having everyone else use you but God”.
