Pastor Pamela Johnson (affectionately called Pastor Pam) became a licensed minister in 1994 and was ordained Elder in 1997. She has served in many capacities in the church, served many leaders, and has traveled abroad preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. In 2003 she and her husband Bishop Charles Johnson began grass roots ministry and founded The Well Church in Raleigh NC. She served as Co-Pastor at The Well until she was elevated to Senior Pastor in 2007 under the leadership of Bishop George Bloomer of CLURT International Assemblies.

Outside of the church she serves in the community with incarcerated women and those in transition by providing spiritual counsel and group therapy sessions. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and serves as an advisor of Delta Academy, South Atlantic Regional Mental Health First Aide Trainer, and member of the Regional Chaplains Council. Pastor Pam is a proud graduate of Winston-Salem State University with a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and holds a
Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty
University. She is a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate, Dually Certified Mental Health First Aide Instructor, aspiring Licensed Professional Counselor, and Spiritual Advisor.

Her most favorite job is being a wife of 28 years to her college sweetheart, mother of two wonderful sons, and Nana to two beautiful granddaughters. Pastor Pam is not religious, but very spiritual and believes in being a safe place for people to express their raw truth without feeling unjustly judged. She believes in the power of love without limits which will ultimately lead people to Christ.
